Home learning Mulberry Class
Well done everyone for logging into this Mulberry blog and trying the activities. Remember, that family and outside time are very important to do to.

 Mental maths

Go online to use sumdog:   www.sumdog.com  
(see your log in details on sheet in learning pack) 
There are new challenges to achieve over today and this weekend to help you get rewards.


Maths - Multiplication

Look at the different blocks of grids (on sheet called ‘Multiplying’, in learning pack sent home) 
These are arrays and each is a multiplication. Write the multiplication and match the grids that show the same multiplication.
Then answer the times table questions underneath (on the sheet).


Literacy/Reading

Practise spellings:

actual
learn
group
heard
arrive
circle
often
build

Can you put each word into a sentence, so you understand what it means?



Afternoon activity

PE – Go outside and play with a ball, bat etc.

Show off your sporting skills such as:
throwing, catching, bouncing, rolling, striking with a bat, passing the ball to another person by using underarm throw, overarm throw or chest pass

    Hi Mrs Morris, thanks for the work on the blog. It has helped the boys knowing that they still have the same sort of routine as before and given us some focus to our day between lots of football.

Week 5 Summer term  Mulberry Class Home Learning A mulberry tree Wow, Mulberry Class,  I can't believe we have been apart for this many weeks now.  I know many of you are missing being with your friends, and being in class, so I hope that trying some of these Home learning activities will make you feel like you are all working on the same thing, as if we are really in class together.
